Made for More

“The fire of God’s glory is not just a beautiful metaphor”

A Message from Pastor Bunmi Adeyemi on Glory Fire and this Season of our Lives

Dear Beloved Daughters of the Kingdom,

As we step into this season of 2025, I want to speak to you about the Glory Fire that burns within each one of you. You are not ordinary women – you are palace pillars, chosen and set apart for such a time as this.

The fire of God’s glory is not just a beautiful metaphor; it is the very essence of who you are in Christ. This fire refines, purifies, and empowers you to walk in the fullness of your calling. As Christian women, we carry within us the capacity to transform atmospheres, influence generations, and establish God’s kingdom on earth.

This season calls for an awakening – an awakening to your true identity, your divine purpose, and the authority you carry as daughters of the Most High King. You were Made for More than what the world offers. You were created to reign, to lead, and to manifest God’s glory in every sphere of influence.

Let the Glory Fire burn brightly in you this year. Let it consume every limitation, every fear, and every lie that has held you back. Step into your season of MORE.

With love and blessings,
PB.

Stories of God’s Faithfulness

God of Times and Seasons – Abiola Adedeji

In 2023, I attended Made for More at Blue Mountain. It was a beautiful weekend — laughter, food, bonding with the ladies, and of course, the Word. But if I’m honest, I went into that retreat carrying a weight in my heart. On the outside, everything looked fine, but inside I felt stuck.

I was a certified project manager but still working as a project coordinator. No matter how much I tried to silence it, I wrestled with the thought that I was letting myself down. I knew God had told me He needed me in that role to care for my family in that season, yet my mind refused to rest. I longed for an encounter that would make sense of it all.

The retreat was drawing to a close. After a warm breakfast, we gathered for our final morning session before heading back to the buses. It was in those very last moments that the guest minister, Mrs. Ayo, rose to speak and began to admonish us. As she was rounding up, she said:

“Ladies, if you are in a season where it feels like you’re not moving forward, it’s okay. God has you there for a purpose, just for that season.”

Those words pierced my heart. Tears streamed down my face because it was exactly what I needed to hear. It was as if God Himself said, “Abi, I see you. Stay where I’ve placed you — I’m working something out.” That single moment gave me strength to carry the season differently.

And here’s where the surprise comes in: not long after that encounter, God opened my eyes to the supernatural. I began to have encounters with Him that birthed a hunger and thirst for Christ like never before. From what looked like a standstill came fresh purpose — new ventures, progress at work, joy at home, and a deeper intimacy with God.

So, to every woman reading this: trust God in your seasons. Even when it feels like nothing is moving, He is moving. Ask Him, “Lord, what do You want me to do in this season?” and lean in. The waiting, the holding pattern, the “not yet” — they are never wasted. Sometimes, your greatest breakthrough is hiding in what looks like a delay.

God bless you.

God Gave Us Victory – FTee Aduroja

Our ordeal began in Jan 2024 when an allegation of misconduct was filed against my husband. In a bid to clear his name, we got a lawyer. Whilst this was going on, his right of work expired and because he had a pending case, he was unable to extend. He became jobless for months and fell into depression even contemplating suicide. I became the armour bearer – lifting him up in prayers and crying to God daily for help.

My sisters and a few praying sisters raised a prayer altar in our home/s and met weekly to petition God. After a while, we changed it to praise while waiting on our testimony. Weeks turned into months to a year. During the crossover service of 2024, PG shared a word that regarding this immigration, don’t help yourself – let God fight for you. So, we decided to hold on to God for complete victory.

In Jan 2025, we received news that the case was dropped because no evidence of wrongdoing was found. While we were rejoicing, the opposition asked for a review. By regular protocol, a review should take 40days, but this turned into weeks and months. We were beginning to panic but I intensified in praise and warfare Psalms – using Ps 35 and a couple of others to wage war.

Then came Monday, September 1st 2025, we got a mail through our lawyer that the verdict was upheld and the case has been dropped. I have come to return all glory to God because in my distress, I cried to Him and HE saved me. This was a burden in my heart throughout the M4M 2024 and God gave my family victory!!!!

Ps 126:6 says – He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him

Praise God – Amen

God has truly been my Source – Anu

I just want to give God the glory for being my source throughout this year. I had a bad financial investment two years ago and I had to pay for it in the last one year and I just want to thank God for helping me through it. I didn’t lack anything throughout and by His grace I am about completing repayment. God has indeed been good to me through my family, my job, relationships and through the Elevate Community Church. I am forever grateful…Praise God.

Grace for Every Stage: Parenting Kids from Crib to College

“Point your kids in the right direction, when they’re old, they won’t be lost.” – Proverbs 22:6 (MSG)

We probably know this but will say it again, parenting is a calling and a very sacred journey. I know that if your children span different age brackets (toddlers to teens), or you are navigating a specific age bracket with one or multiple children, it can feel like you are juggling multiple worlds at once. But take it easy, God’s grace covers every stage. WE SEE YOU.

Whether you are navigating seemingly endless sleepless nights, wiping sticky hands or navigating teenage moods, here are a few faith-filled tips to guide your parenting for every age and stage

1

Embrace the Season you are in

“To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1 (AMPC)
It is easy to wish away the toddler tantrums or teenage tension. But each stage has its own beauty and purpose. Ask God to help you see what He is doing in your child(ren’s) lives right now. Celebrate the milestones; big and small, and rest in the truth that no season lasts forever.

2

Tailor your approach

“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.” – Ephesians 6:4 (NLT)

A 3-year-old needs structure, a 10-year-old needs encouragement, and a 17-year-old needs trust. Just as God meets us uniquely where we are, your parenting can reflect His example. Take time to know your child’s heart at each age and adjust your methods with love and wisdom.

3

Prioritize presence over perfection

“Be still, and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10a
You do not need to have all the answers or get everything “right.” Your child(ren) will not remember the perfect birthday cake; they will remember your presence. Carve out intentional time for each child, even if it is just a few minutes a day. Ask God to multiply your efforts and fill in the gaps with His love.

4

Stay anchored in prayer

“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. ” – Philippians 4:6 (MSG)
When parenting feels overwhelming, remember you are not doing this alone. Cover your children in prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your words, decisions, and discipline. God loves your children even more than you do, and He is with you every step of the way.

Final Encouragement

You were chosen by God to parent these children. Not because you are perfect, but because He is. Lean on His wisdom, walk in grace, and remember: every age is an opportunity to plant seeds that will bear eternal fruit. You’re not just raising kids, you are raising kingdom builders.

Reflections:
What’s one way you can connect individually with each of your children this week?

Are there areas where you need to give yourself grace as a parent?

Thriving Beyond Borders – Lovelyn Toyo

Anything worth doing is worth doing well, doing unto man as though unto God. Our diligence with a little is a good predictor of our diligence with a lot

We are not powerless. Within us lies the transformative power to pivot from adversity, shape positive outcomes, sow seeds of growth, and uproot limitations. We can lean into this God-given power

We hold the threads of our narrative. In every choice and in every moment, by choosing courage over fear, we can craft our stories of strength, possibility and legacy

Visibility isn’t a nice-to-have; it’s a must-have for board-ready women professionals aiming to lead with influence

Strategic alliances aren’t just connections; they are the bridges to opportunities you can’t reach alone.

Career growth isn’t accidental—it’s intentional. Plan, position, and pursue every step with purpose.

Cultivating the Entrepreneurial Mindset
– Abiola Adedeji

As powerful as God is, we can still limit Him by the mindset we carry.

Business is a think big, start small, and continuously iterate venture.

When you say something is impossible, you’re really saying you don’t carry the substance for the promise.

The Holy Spirit is the believer’s advantage; He downloads strategies for business just as much as for spiritual life

Building Your Legacy as a Woman -Ademirike Lala

You save to protect yourself today, and you invest to give yourself freedom in the future.

You are called to be a steward of your money. Stewardship isn’t just about managing finances; it’s about honouring God with every resource he has entrusted to you.

Remember, saving is not the goal; freedom to live the life you want is the goal.

You can’t manage what you don’t know, so knowing and understanding your money is the first step.
